We were delighted that so many people were able to join us for a special charity performance of ‘Posting Letters to the Moon’ at Esher Theatre on 16 February 2024.
Lucy Fleming and Simon Williams’ reading of the touching and amusing wartime letters between Celia Johnson and her husband Peter Fleming was hugely enjoyable and transported us all back to the time of World War II with real wit and charm.
This was the first time Citizens Advice Esher & District has organised a theatre event and we were so pleased with the amazing support we received.
Thanks to generosity of the audience, the event helped to generate much needed funds for our essential advice service and also for local children’s charity Oasis.
